You’re right. I wasn’t reading from the PDF before; I relied on an earlier note, and that was wrong. I’ve checked The Artemisia Garden now: it has no urns. It’s a 16-page guide for a 9 × 4.5 metre terrace-side border with 28 plants across five plant choices.
An illustrated sixteen-page PDF with a botanical cover, a garden view, planting close-ups and a watercolour sketch.
A numbered overview and detailed A3 planting plan for a 9 × 4.5 metre border beside your terrace, designed around 28 plants across five plant choices.
A shopping list with real plant photographs, names, quantities and recommended buying sizes.
Simple planting steps, spacing guidance and material suggestions, alongside an A3 planting plan and irrigation layout. Clear instructions explain how to use a Rain Bird tap timer, one continuous tube and drippers with different flow rates to suit the plants’ watering needs.
A seasonal care calendar, nursery buying notes and the story behind The Artemisia Garden, inspired by the gold, ruby red and deep green of Artemisia Gentileschi’s paintings.

You will need an open, broadly level planting area 9 metres long and 4.5 metres deep beside your existing terrace or seating area, with full sun, freely draining soil and access to fresh irrigation water. Choose a sheltered setting protected from severe frost, harsh winds and strong salt spray.
Allow the full depth of the border for the plants to mature, keeping the terrace and main walking route outside the planting area. Leave access behind the border for seasonal care and light shaping, with an open view through the planting to the landscape beyond.
The guide includes an A3 irrigation layout and simple instructions for connecting a Rain Bird timer to an outside tap already prepared for irrigation, using one continuous tube and individual drippers positioned at each plant’s rootball.

€250 buys The Artemisia Garden digital guide for use at one property.
You may share it with the gardener working on that property.
Print the guide as a handy garden booklet, with the planting and irrigation plans printed at A3 for easy reference. Clear, step-by-step instructions take you through buying, positioning, planting, watering and caring for your plants, giving you the confidence to create the garden yourself or alongside your gardener.
The design is supplied as shown. Plants, materials, delivery, ground preparation and installation are purchased separately. Site visits, personal advice and changes to the planting or layout are available as separate services. Construction, lighting and drainage drawings are not included.
A complete planting design, created to help you bring this garden to life in your own space.
If your space has a different shape, needs a different planting scheme or forms part of a larger project, contact Hayley about a bespoke garden design.
