About the designer
Hayley Simmonds designs in Puglia creating beautiful life-enhancing gardens, poolside oasis and transforms private spaces. Created with a little wild and a lot of heart, reflecting what clients want for their garden use, her gardens are sympathetic to the space and locality, encouraging a little nature into the garden.

Background
Hayley trained at the British Academy of Garden Design, where she was awarded a diploma in garden design with distinction.
She creates her designs by providing hand drawn images for 3D visualizations, using some CAD programs producing 2D plans that provide both clients and landscapers with a full understanding of her visions.

Prior to becoming a professional garden designer, Hayley owned a property management company in Puglia, specializing in the luxury market for 7 years.
She also owned a property company in London where she used her design skills in renovation and an interiors boutique shop on the south coast showcasing her flair for interior styling and design. But her life’s enthusiasm has been and still remains gardens.

Hayley is versatile and ambitious in her design process, working across a range of designs from cottage garden, naturalistic, matrix to sculptural, architectural, repeat pattern styles, creating tranquil and calming or structural and bold planting plans.
Her work is grounded in both her enthusiasm of design and knowledge of local plants and her practical expertise in garden aspects, such as poolside vistas and dry garden design.
